Final wash and polish before Shamrock is packed into the container on its way to Bangkok

The journey begins

After many months of detailed preparation and hard work Shamrock was ready for its sea voyage to Bangkok where our Silk Road adventure begins.

Now we have the difficult task of organizing what clothes we need to pack into our compact duffle bags for our time away. All luggage, such as a small portable fridge, flat folding chairs, spare parts and tools and food containers were bought to specifically fit neatly into the back of Shamrock.

We will certainly miss our two faithful followers, Oscar and Monty.
